Tullamore Community Arts Centre

Our competition entry to design a new Arts centre for Tullamore town centre.

The brief was to design a new building to incorporate a performance space, artists studios and facilities for community classes and events, while improving the public realm along the river space.

Our design though simple in its form relates to the lines of the site while throwing focus to the river and town centre.

We proposed colourful facades to be clad in a laser cut corrugated cladding to create a sense of animation, reflecting the buildings’ varied program of events and uses to be enjoyed by all.
